Responsibilities

Xara Collection is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and uphold our high standards of service excellence.; TheRole; Key Responsibilities; Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service; Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team; Promote sale s through menu knowledge, upselling and beverage pairing; Manage reservations, table allocation, and service flow; Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally; Coordinate and oversee private events, functions, and special occasions; Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and allergen regulations; Monitor financial performance, staffing levels, and operational costs; Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-end or fine dining environment; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent communication and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage busy service periods and changing operational priorities; In-depth knowledge of food & beverage operations and guest service; Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management (ITS Diploma or equivalent preferred); Valid Food Handler Licence (as per Maltese regulations)
