Restructuring and Insolvency (Financial Advisory Services)

As a member of our Restructuring and Insolvency practice, you will be involved in a wide range of restructuring and insolvency assignments, including corporate restructuring and reorganisation, liquidation, bankruptcy, receivership, and forensic accounting and litigation support. This role provides hands-on experience in restructuring and insolvency proceedings matters across different industries and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of engagements such as corporate liquidation, bankruptcy, receivership, restructuring and reorganisation, and forensic accounting and litigation support; Investigating the financial affairs of companies or individuals; Dealing with claims and queries from creditors and clients; Supervising and reporting progress of engagements, including ensuring compliance of statutory requirements and deadlines; Preparing reports / documents to the Court, the Official Receiver and other stakeholders to comply with relevant statutory requirements; Coaching junior members of staff assisting them to develop skills necessary in their roles; Supporting business and relationship development with current and potential clients

Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant experience for Manager; Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, economics, finance or business-related subjects; Positive team player with strong analytical skills; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Nice to have

Accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent
