Retail Management Trainee

This development program is designed to develop future frontline Managers who will play a critical role in leading our teams and ensuring operational excellence. The program lasts up to 6 months, with participants rotating through all major functions and sites, including call center, dispatch, car purchasing and sales, marketing, customer service, operations, systems and tools, accident/injury investigation, training, and health and safety. The trainee will work on site in different locations in the province of Quebec (e.g., South Shore, Drummondville, and Sherbrooke). This is a hands-on, field-based program where most of the day is spent working directly with frontline employees.

Responsibilities

Lead operations in a branch, including yard management and depollution; Lead retail activities in a branch, including assisting customers throughout their purchasing; Support vehicle purchasing and sales transactions, ensuring processes are followed and documentation is completed accurately; Identify and access relevant information efficiently; Coach and support employees in their daily activities to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence; Support leadership in investigating workplace incidents and contributing to corrective action plans; Coach, mentor, and lead diverse teams

Requirements

Graduate of a college, university, or trade school; 5 to 10 years of experience in retail and/or customer service; 3 to 5 years of management experience; Strong written and oral communication skills and professional email etiquette; Excellent time management and prioritization skills; Critical and logical thinking skills; Open availability, as branches are open 7 days a week; Ability to work outside and in hot and cold temperatures
