Retail Service Specialist

The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations; Assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager; Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs; Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed; Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and friendly, refunds are issued accurately, and returned merchandise is processed or staged correctly; Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store; Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned; Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, changes are approved by management, and team members clock in/out according to company policy; Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verifying and securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, securing the building, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Strong communication skills; Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to have

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts; Automotive systems and repair knowledge; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
