RN - Transport - JDCH Transport Team - PT - Days - $7,500 Sign on Bonus

Our Transport program provides complete care for high acuity patients from infant to adolescent during inter-facility transport via ambulance or fixed wing. Transport RN's ensure continuity of care, medical management and safe transport of patients. From cardiac monitoring to ICU level of nursing care, RN's work directly with doctors, nurses, other medical professionals to give best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

Implements patient population specific interventions based on individual patient needs; Evaluates effectiveness of care and care coordination progressing patients toward desired outcomes; Organizes coordinates and prioritizes nursing care activities considering the needs of the patient; Provides for a safe environment and safe delivery of care; Assesses the physical psychological social and cultural dimensions of patients according to professional practice standards and institutional policy/procedure; Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of patient care; Ensures continuity of care, medical management and safe transport of patients; Works directly with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to give best possible outcomes for patients

Requirements

Registered Nurse (Accredited Program, Required); ACLS American Heart E-Card or ACLS AHA certification; BLS American Heart E-Card or BLS AHA certification; Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or C-NPT Certified Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Certification; PFCCS Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support within 2 years of hire; NRP Certification within 6 months of hire for Peds and NEO; PALS American Heart certification; Registered Nurse License (State of Florida); Three (3) years of Neonatal or Pediatric critical care or ED experience; Ability to lift/push/pull a minimum of 150 lbs; Ability to tolerate stressors of flight and medical transport
