SAP S/4HANA Automation Test Manager

Test planning, governance, System Integrator delivery management, UAT management, and test automation for LUCA SAP Finance and SAP Ariba rollout waves at METRO Global Solution Center India in Pune.

Responsibilities

Apply and continuously improve the LUCA end-to-end test strategy across assigned releases and rollout waves; Develop integrated test plans covering scope, cycles, milestones, entry and exit criteria, environments, test data and responsibilities; Establish and operate quality gates, governance routines, escalation paths, status reporting and readiness assessments; Maintain traceability from business requirements to test cases, executions, defects and acceptance evidence; Coordinate testing dependencies across LUCA process streams, SAP and non-SAP partner systems and country organisations; Challenge test scope and coverage for SAP Finance and SAP Ariba requirements; Coordinate test preparation and execution across distributed teams; Lead defect-management routines and drive critical issues to resolution and retest; Provide reporting on execution progress, coverage, defect trends, blockers and go-live readiness; Define, agree and govern SI test deliverables, responsibilities, milestones and acceptance criteria; Review and challenge SI estimates, resource plans and execution progress; Escalate material SI delivery risks early; Own planning and management of the UAT exercise for assigned LUCA rollout waves; Coordinate nomination, onboarding and readiness of business testers and key users; Lead UAT execution governance and drive formal UAT completion and business acceptance; Use Zephyr within the Jira-based testing approach for test-case management, execution tracking and audit evidence; Contribute to the LUCA test-automation strategy and coordinate UiPath-based SAP test-automation activities; Promote reuse of automated tests across SAP GUI, SAP Fiori and connected business processes; Coordinate virtual and cross-functional testing teams; Facilitate test-planning, execution, defect and readiness forums; Capture lessons learned and improve test methods and automation practices

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline; At least 10 years of experience in SAP testing or quality management, including substantial responsibility as a Test Manager in complex multinational SAP transformation programmes; Practical experience across the full testing lifecycle and with waterfall, agile or hybrid delivery approaches; Strong knowledge of SAP Finance processes and integration points, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling and connected systems; Good knowledge of SAP Ariba and procurement-to-pay integration; Experience testing interface-heavy landscapes, data migration, cross-system business processes and third-party applications; Hands-on knowledge of Jira and Zephyr; Proven experience managing System Integrator test-delivery commitments and coordinating internal teams, business testers and implementation vendors across geographies; Demonstrated experience planning and leading large-scale UAT exercises; Strong analytical and risk-based mindset; Highly structured and dependable approach to planning, governance, documentation, follow-up and escalation; Clear and articulate communication with stakeholders at different levels of seniority; Confident facilitation skills; Calm and pragmatic behaviour under delivery pressure; Excellent written and spoken English; Willingness and ability to travel when required

Nice to have

Knowledge of UiPath for SAP test automation (highly advantageous); SAP, ISTQB, test-management or UiPath certification (advantageous but not required); Retail-industry experience (beneficial)
