SC Operations Specialist

The Supply Chain Specialist is an operational role within the Supply Chain Operations team. This position is responsible for the day-to-day execution and monitoring of the manufacturing and supply plan for Drug Substance (DS), Drug Product (DP), and Finished Packed Goods (FP). The role ensures internal DS and DP manufacturing sites, as well as external CDMOs (for part of DP) and CMOs (for all packaging), deliver according to the plan received from Supply Chain Planning. The specialist acts as a key operational coordinator and line-driver, maintaining visibility on supply status and supporting reliable product availability for patients.

Responsibilities

Daily execution and monitoring of the manufacturing and supply plan for DS, DP, and FP, tracking progress against timelines and quantities; Maintaining up-to-date visibility on production, inventory, and material movements; Serving as central point of contact for supply-related questions, updating delivery dates in SAP and following up on commitments; Tracking backorders and coordinating bottleneck resolution with manufacturing, CDMOs, CMOs, and other functions; Collecting data and preparing reports and dashboards on supply chain KPIs (OTIF, backlog, backorder levels, lead time, MOQ adherence, ADS); Participating in demand control meetings and operational reviews; Monitoring committed delivery dates, flagging risks early, and escalating supply issues; Coordinating with internal sites, CDMOs, CMOs, and Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics teams; Maintaining accurate SAP data for production orders, deliveries, and inventory; Supporting month-end supply reconciliation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; 1–4 years of experience in supply chain, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biotech; Strong organizational and coordination skills; Good analytical skills with attention to detail; Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities; Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment; Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership; Fluency in English

Nice to have

Exposure to manufacturing supply chains (ideally DS/DP) and/or working with CDMOs/CMOs; Basic knowledge of SAP (PP, MM, or SD modules); Additional languages besides English
