Position Overview In this role, you’ll handle fabric, sew draperies and valances, and ensure all products meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Handle fabric, sew draperies and valances, and ensure all products meet our high-quality standards; Receive fabric from the Top Treatment Cutter and verify measurements on work tickets; Sew valance top treatments accurately using industrial sewing machines; Iron and press top treatments to ensure a finished, professional appearance; Follow written and verbal instructions to maintain production standards; Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety rules; Operate hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently; Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or near misses to supervisors; Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent; Experience using industrial sewing machines and general sewing skills; Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately; Basic knowledge of fabrics and production equipment; Attention to detail with accuracy in names, numbers, and spelling; Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; Capable of standing for long periods and lifting regularly; Able to pass a color-blind test; Strong focus on safety and compliance with workplace rules; Comfortable performing repetitive hand and wrist motions
