SEIU Dispatcher

Under direct supervision receives and schedules request for messenger service, dispatches messengers and equipment, and keeps records of services rendered.

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision receives and schedules request for messenger service; dispatches messengers and equipment; keeps records of services rendered; directs and guides the flow of work to Transport Assistants; keeps dispatch board current; informs Supervisor of related problems; occasionally performs duties of Transport Assistants; performs other related duties as required

Requirements

High School diploma and 6-9 months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; requires the ability to deal with others effectively and courteously
