Responsibilities

Cleans equipment, utensils, pots and pans, and work areas including floors and walls, and handles supplies in a food service department; picks up used dishes from counter areas and tables; prepares for washing by scraping and pre-rinsing and washes by machine, or by hand, silver, china, glasses and/or pots and pans; performs general helper duties and assists in handling supplies and food as directed; maintains prescribed sanitation standards; performs other duties as directed

Requirements

Ability to work compatibly in a food service atmosphere; physical ability to stand and walk short distances most of the working day; ability to reach for, lift, and carry various materials; ability to perform light and heavy cleaning
