Responsibilities

Prepare and review month-end journals, reconciliations, and management reports; Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business performance; Partner with business leaders and act as a key finance contact across your portfolio; Investigate financial issues, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend solutions; Support system improvements, finance transformation initiatives, and business acquisitions; Assist with audit requirements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards; Work closely with the Group Tax team on payroll tax, GST, FBT, and income tax reporting; Drive continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen controls, and enhance finance processes; Mentor and support junior team members within the finance team

Requirements

CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent experience); 6+ years' experience in accounting, ideally combining corporate and public practice experience; Strong financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting capabilities; Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP highly regarded); Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes; Experience contributing to process improvements, system implementations, or transformation projects; Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a changing environment
