Senior Application Support

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications. Working in a hybrid environment, you will support production systems, manage incidents, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and external teams.

Additional Valued Experience

- Exposure to Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
- Experience working within ITIL-based support processes.

Responsibilities

Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production applications.; Monitor applications and manage incidents, problems, and service requests.; Coordinate issue resolution with development, infrastructure, and external teams.; Execute deployments, upgrades, patches, and change activities.; Support monitoring and observability initiatives using tools such as Dynatrace.; Maintain technical documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives.; Participate in on-call support activities for critical systems when required.

Requirements

Experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments.; Experience with Red Hat JBoss EAP and Java troubleshooting.; Knowledge of heap dump and thread dump analysis and performance optimization.; Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.; Experience with API Gateway solutions such as Axway and/or Apigee.; Knowledge of RHEL Linux.; Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Dynatrace.; Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Nexus Sonatype.; Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform.; Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.; Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
