Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright and modern automation practices, along with hands-on experience in UI and API testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript); Automate web application test cases covering both UI and API; Develop reusable test utilities and implement Page Object Models (POM); Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps); Execute regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing; Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams; Perform root cause analysis and debug automation failures; Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain detailed test reports (Allure/HTML reports); Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices; Continuously improve framework performance and scalability

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Test Automation; Strong hands-on experience with Playwright; Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript; Experience in API testing (Playwright API / Postman / Rest Assured); Good understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber; Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools; Knowledge of SQL and database validation; Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies; Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
