Senior Content Analyst

The Corporate Actions team manages the collection and maintenance of high-quality data across a wide range of financial markets and asset classes. The analysts are required to source the information from the public domains/contributors defined and ingest/enter the information into database using proprietary collection methodology including the value information. This information is time critical and requires to be processed within the set timeline and quality parameters.

Responsibilities

Take ownership for data quality of Corporate Actions content, including accuracy, timeliness and completeness; Act as a data quality ambassador within the group; Play an active role in testing for improvement projects; Collaborate with multi-functional teams for event validation; Drive process improvements and automation initiatives; Perform quality checks on content, checking back to source and ensuring subsequent data changes are reflected in the database; Gain experienced knowledge on data models to assist in quality control measures; Respond to data queries from internal and external clients and provide high-level support; Liaise with Content Analysts/Associate Content Analysts on data quality issues and ensure remedial actions are taken; Handle and lead the resolution process for all customer related issues; Take accountability and ensure the team is on track to meet upcoming events; Work effectively with team members and ensure balanced process knowledge; Supervise market events to anticipate changes in financial instruments; Work with Govcorp users and CAM users to provide Root Cause Analysis for problem areas; Proactively identify and resolve content issues; Provide project support for builds, test cases, cleanse, and quality initiatives; Research new and review existing sources to improve quality, timeliness and completeness scores; Train new team members and provide product and/or database training to staff; Troubleshoot data issues and translate them into actions and solutions; Document MOWs, policies, procedures and work processes, and regularly review and modify them per market practices; Find opportunities for simplification and automation of processes

Requirements

Fair understanding of Debt corporate action asset classes such as Government, Corporate and MUNIs; Ability to work in different shifts is a must
