Senior Financial Analyst

Telecommunications Company who provides High Caliber global telecom services.

The Sr. financial analyst will execute and support financial and operational reporting and analysis. The position will focus on detailed analysis of budget to actual variance, revenue bookings & provisioning trends, business & financing initiatives, operational performance and competitor and market intelligence.

Update and maintain 5-year projection including in-year forecast

 Support financing initiatives

 Work with each department to support budget process for annual budgets

 Tracking and analysis of business initiatives

 Develop and update product profitability reporting using allocation methodology down to EBITDA

 Review of data sources for quality and ensure it conforms to defined needs for analysis

 Creation and maintenance of due diligence material

 Identify, analyze and overcome barriers to improved profitability. Identify opportunities to run more efficiently, including defining appropriate key performance metrics, and driving towards greater exception based reporting methodologies

 Continually improve the rolling forecast process through education of managers on financial issues impacting their financial performance

 Aid with implementation of systems and processes

 Adhoc reporting and analysis as necessary

Requirements

Experience;  3-5 years financial analysis experience;  Financial modelling experience;  Departmental Budget to Actual development, reporting and analysis;  Management Reporting;  Financial and IT system usage and implementation a plus;  Coordinating key information internationally from various departments a plus;  Expert Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically Microsoft Excel;  Ability to work independently and as part of a team;  Ability to work under deadlines;  Self-motivated;  Strong oral and written communications skills.;  Creative problem solving abilities;  Solid understanding of financial reporting;  Preferably has experience in networking/telco industry
