Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Taktile empowers financial institutions to transform into truly AI-native organizations. We’re growing rapidly with enterprise customers across banks and insurance companies, and we’re looking for a Lead Solutions Engineer in our São Paulo office.

Responsibilities

Lead complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production, owning technical delivery across multiple deployments from scoping high-impact Agentic AI use cases to stable production; Apply technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and creativity to help organizations address real-world challenges, including designing solution architectures, developing decision logic, deploying production-grade Generative AI agents, and aligning with key customer stakeholders; Scope work, sequence delivery, proactively remove blockers, and make thoughtful trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality; Partner with Taktile’s product management team to turn customer needs into actionable product insights influencing the product roadmap; Develop reusable resources, best practices, and tools to help scale the forward deployed engineering function

Requirements

4-6 years of engineering or technical deployment experience that includes customer-facing work; Fluent in both English and Portuguese, with exceptional English communication skills; Strong technical background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science; Write and review production-grade Python and SQL; Strong command of REST API design and integrations; Excel at breaking down complex problems and making quick, well-informed decisions under pressure; Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders at all levels; Collaborative, curious, and low-ego; Based in the São Paulo area and comfortable traveling for in-person customer or team meetings

Nice to have

4-6 years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solution Engineer, Implementation Specialist or equivalent within a B2B SaaS company; Experience in building AI applications within financial services; Experience in applying and optimizing statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems; Experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); Experience working at or with tier-1 banks in Brazil for risk decision solutions/vendors deployment projects
