Tech Stack

- Strong experience with Vue.js 3 (Composition API) for building user interfaces on Zebra handheld touch-screen devices.
- Proficiency in TypeScript to ensure long-term maintainability and code quality.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and HTTP client integrations for seamless frontend-backend communication.
- Expertise in responsive and touch-optimized UI development, with a focus on usability in operational environments and on devices with constrained screen sizes.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, Atlassian tools, or equivalent collaboration platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills, including performance analysis and optimization.
- Regular use of AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and improve the quality of delivered solutions.

Responsibilities

Tailor client solutions : Conduct research, assessments, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions tailored to client needs; Deliver high-quality code : Ensure the delivery of high-quality code that meets requirements, with a focus on performance; Drive Continuous Improvement : You will proactively identify areas for improvement in existing programs and lead refactoring efforts; Team collaboration : Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clients; Provide client consultancy : Offer technical consultancy services to clients to ensure solutions meet their requirements; Nurture Knowledge : Mentor colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

Attention to UX under operational constraints — cashiers work under time pressure, the interface must be self-explanatory and fault-tolerant; Willingness to work close to hardware — not a typical browser environment; Effective communication skills for both team collaboration and client interaction; Ability to adapt strategies and work methods to specific project contexts; Experience analyzing project requirements and delivering reliable solutions for different components

Nice to have

Offline / degraded-mode UX, handheld may lose connectivity, UI should handle gracefully; Android WebView or hybrid app experience; Testing (Vitest / Cypress); Knowledge of frameworks and adjacent technologies used in projects (NodeJS, Docker, etc.); Willingness and experience in developing colleagues with lower seniority, fostering a collaborative team environment; Application lifecycle and CI/CD knowledge; Security and UI/UX experience
