Senior Manager, Finance Systems

Dandy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Finance Systems to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of core finance systems. Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems, this role is both hands-on with system configuration and process improvement and focused on effectively managing technical resources to deliver more complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Build & shape the Finance Systems function, defining its structure, vision, roles, responsibilities, and growth paths; Create scalable solutions by defining, building, and optimizing processes, methodologies, and tools for NetSuite and other finance systems, including standards for system configuration, data management, integrations, and reporting; Implement best practices for system configuration, data integrity, user management, security, testing, and deployment across finance systems; Manage and guide technical resources (internal or external) delivering NetSuite SuiteScript development, API integrations, and other technical requirements; Foster a data-driven culture within Finance by leveraging system capabilities for reporting and analysis; Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of core finance systems, initially focused on NetSuite and expanding to Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report systems

Requirements

4+ years of experience managing or leading projects within finance systems, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced, growth environment; 7+ years of experience working with core finance systems, with deep functional and process knowledge across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, and Procurement; Significant hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration and administration, and ideally a working understanding of SuiteScript and integrations; Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications; Comfortable working with technical resources; Experience implementing new finance systems or significantly scaling existing ones; Ability to define a long-term vision for finance systems while implementing tactical changes; Strong communicator and collaborator able to work with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Engineering, Operations) and explain complex system issues to non-technical teams; Experienced in designing and implementing processes that drive rigor, consistency, and efficiency across finance workflows

Nice to have

Experience working in mid-sized high-growth companies; NetSuite Administrator certification; Experience working for a manufacturing company; Experience with other finance systems relevant to Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report processes; Experience managing both internal and external technical resources; Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Hex)
