Senior Manager, Operations Program Manager

As a Senior Manager, Operations Program Manager, you will lead a team responsible for driving hardware programs across the full product lifecycle — from New Product Introduction (NPI) through sustaining and high-volume mass production. This pivotal leadership role demands a seasoned expert capable of mentoring a high-performing team of Operations Program Managers, architecting capacity and ramp plans, and managing executive-level relationships with global Contract Manufacturers to optimize yield, quality, throughput, and cost. With over a decade of experience in hardware operations and a deep mastery of the full product lifecycle, you will drive cross-functional alignment from early development through mass production, oversee multi-million dollar capital expenditures, and navigate complex supply chain risks. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Operations Program Managers spanning NPI and Sustaining programs; Drive supply chain readiness for new product launches and sustaining programs, ensuring delivery on schedule, scale, cost, and quality from EVT through high-volume mass production; Oversee on-the-ground factory operations and own executive-level relationships with Contract Manufacturers, ensuring KPIs for yield, quality, and throughput; Lead NPI program execution from concept through PRQ, partnering with Engineering and Product Management on supplier down-selections, launch strategy, and ramp planning; Lead the Post Ramp Qualification framework and make high-stakes decisions on product changes; Partner with Executive Leadership to ensure global supply matches demand and own mitigation strategy for supply chain disruptions; Architect long-term capacity plan including strategic deployment of multi-million dollar capital expenditures; Partner with MPMs on Materials Management strategy, identify systemic supply chain risks and implement hedging or dual-sourcing strategies; Own operational budget for NPI and Sustaining programs including Opex, Capex, and variance reporting

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Hardware Operations, Technical Program Management, or Engineering Leadership across NPI and sustaining/mass production phases, with at least 3 years in formal people management; Track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced hardware environments; Deep expertise leading programs across all product lifecycle stages (EVT, DVT, PVT, MP ramp, sustaining) and across Hardware disciplines (EE, ME, ID) and Supply Chain functions (Sourcing, Quality, Logistics, Global Planning); Significant experience working on-site at international manufacturing facilities (JDM/ODM models) with understanding of assembly lines, test stations, and factory floor dynamics; Exceptional communication skills with executive presence for C-suite executives; Strong experience managing large-scale budgets and understanding financial drivers behind manufacturing and supply chain operations; Relentless drive to optimize processes and passion for mentoring the next generation of hardware leaders; Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 30%
