Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering

Fivetran + dbt Labs is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture to lead a North East US Solutions Architecture team. This leadership role will involve growing and leading a team of Solutions Architects, to drive revenue growth and customer success. The Senior Manager will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring technical excellence, and driving the success of our sales efforts, and will partner closely with our sales and broader Americas revenue team.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Architects; Promote a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture within the team; Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets, through value-based selling; Guide GTM strategy in the region by providing insight on sales strategy, product gaps, and advocating for your team’s needs; Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates to ensure that we maintain a high talent bar

Requirements

7+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity, including 3+ years of direct frontline management experience (recruiting, ramping, and retaining top talent); Experience across data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data science; Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in fast-paced environments; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Experience managing customer relationships in both pre- and post-sales capacities
