Senior National Account Manager

An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading family owned Bakery manufacturers as Senior National Account Manager is now available. Within the UK the business has achieved national distribution across the Retail, Wholesale, Convenience, and Foodservice channels. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and has been recognised by this through a number of industry and supplier awards. They have seen significant growth over recent years, doubling both turnover & profit. Their product range includes both branded & private label Breads & Morning Goods. Following business growth and the launch of a hugely successful brand, they are now seeking an ambitious Senior National Account Manager to join the business. As Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a top 6 grocery retail account, the fastest growing customer account and a key strategic customer partnership. You will also take responsibility for a portfolio of key retail & foodservice relationships. Reporting into the Head of Sales, you can expect decisions to be made quickly, working with a great degree of autonomy to drive the business as well as offering personal career development.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of a top 6 grocery retail account; Management of the fastest growing customer account and a key strategic customer partnership; Responsibility for a portfolio of key retail & foodservice relationships; Reporting into the Head of Sales

Requirements

Driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the retail multiples; Experience with private label food products; Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail; Loyal individual wanting to be a real part of the company’s long-term plans and growth strategy; Must live within an hour of head office in Bedfordshire
