Senior QA Tester - Paper.io 2

The role is within the Live games team, working on Paper.io 2, focused on delivering higher engagement on existing and successful games. The team is small and aims to grow while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive manual testing of mobile games to identify and document crucial defects, taking ownership of the entire QA process; Create processes and tools to improve the overall quality of the game; Follow the technical KPIs of live games and propose strategies to continuously improve them; Coordinate closely with design and development teams, providing feedback to improve and refine the product; Design test plans for new features and releases; Prioritize and execute testing tasks across development stages, independently addressing and resolving issues found; Foster an open feedback culture and constructive dialogue with team members; Work with central tech teams on quality-related initiatives

Requirements

3+ years as a QA Engineer in Mobile Games; Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take up tasks from start to finish with little assistance; Reliable self-starter and team player; Passion for mobile games with insight into the player's perspective and expectations; Proven experience using various testing tools and methodologies for mobile games; Clear communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to various stakeholders; Fluent English (speaking and writing); AI-first mindset: comfortable using AI daily and building custom agents or reusable automations

Nice to have

Good understanding of Free-to-Play (F2P) games; Understanding of game design principles; Release management experience
