Senior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Salesforce Developer to join our CRM Systems team. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise-level Salesforce platform, ensuring it is scalable, high-performing, and aligned with our business objectives and compliance requirements. This position requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, best practices, and a collaborative, AI-driven approach to solving complex business problems. The mission of the CRM Systems team is to build and optimize systems of engagement to drive operational efficiency, enable scalable growth, and improve user experiences, directly supporting the company's goal of providing an easy and affordable 401(k) for a secure financial future.

Responsibilities

Development & Implementation: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and platform events; System Integration: Design and build robust integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and platform events; Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a technical leader on projects, providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers; AI-centric Workflow: Leverage AI coding assistants as part of a daily development workflow; Architecture & Design: Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs; Platform Governance & Best Practices: Drive adoption of Salesforce development best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, source-driven development, and change management; Troubleshooting & Support: Own the resolution of complex production issues; Declarative Configuration: Utilize Salesforce declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules)

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer in a complex enterprise environment, including experience using agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Agentforce Vibes) to handle multi-step tasks such as refactoring, test generation, and documentation; Advanced proficiency in programmatic development on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, REST/SOAP APIs, and agentic tools; Expert knowledge of the Lightning Experience, including extensive experience developing with Lightning Web Components (LWC); Strong experience with large-scale data migrations, integration patterns, and data management on the Salesforce platform; Active Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required

Nice to have

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II highly preferred; Trailhead rankings considered in addition/in lieu of certification with appropriate experience
