Senior Software Engineer

We're building the tools that help local businesses connect, grow, and win. We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who thinks like a product owner, someone who's scrappy, opinionated, and energized by taking something from zero to one. You care more about what ships than what stack you're shipping on, and you use AI tooling (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as a genuine force multiplier, not a novelty.

Responsibilities

Own features end-to-end from first design conversation to production on a platform thousands of businesses rely on every day; influence architecture; collaborate closely with product and design; help keep systems reliable as we scale; invest in the people around you: sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and raising the team's collective ceiling.

Requirements

7+ years building and shipping production systems, full stack; A track record of owning problems end-to-end, not just executing tickets, but defining and delivering; Strong instincts across the stack: you're comfortable going deep on backend logic, database design, and frontend UX in the same sprint; Fluency with relational databases and search fundamentals; A hands-on, daily relationship with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) - you've figured out how to move meaningfully faster with them.

Nice to have

Experience at a fast-moving startup or SaaS company; Familiarity with distributed systems concepts: queues, event-driven architecture, horizontal scaling; Exposure to our current stack (Elixir/Phoenix, React, PostgreSQL), or genuine curiosity to pick it up fast; A genuine interest in helping teammates grow.
