Senior Software Engineer

In short, as our Senior Software Engineer, you are responsible to drive several exciting initiatives, help solve problems, no matter how big or small, work on business-critical projects built around cutting-edge technologies, and convey strategy and accuracy to our top-level decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications using Angular and .NET; Partnering closely with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to understand existing processes and system dependencies; Translating mainframe-era workflows into clean, well-documented APIs and services; Building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support front-end and back-end integration; Creating Angular-based single-page applications with strong attention to usability and performance; Contributing to event-driven and workflow-oriented solutions, including asynchronous processing, reconciliation, and backfill scenarios; Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with engineering best practices; Owning engineering solutions end-to-end and proactively identifying opportunities to improve reliability, observability, and scalability; Ensuring applications meet security, performance, and compliance expectations; Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers to support team growth and continuous improvement

Requirements

Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners; Strong collaborators who can communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders; Problem solvers who take ownership and think critically about long-term maintainability; Team players who value clean code, testing, and thoughtful design; People who are curious, adaptable, and open to evolving engineering practices; Engineers comfortable using AI-assisted development tools responsibly, with a strong human-in-the-loop mindset; 5+ years of full-stack development experience with C# and .NET; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience; Hands-on experience building scalable, distributed systems; Strong experience developing APIs using RESTful and/or GraphQL approaches; Experience designing and working with event-driven architectures; Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including complex queries and stored procedures; Proficiency with front-end development (Modern Angular, React, or Vue); Experience writing unit tests and supporting high-quality, maintainable codebases; Working knowledge of Azure cloud services such as App Services, Functions, and Azure SQL; Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation

Nice to have

Background in financial services, accounting systems, or corporate finance environments; Experience modernizing legacy or monolithic applications into service-oriented or microservices architectures; Exposure to real-time data streaming and messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka / Confluent); Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS); Familiarity with workflow or process automation tools such as Pega BPM or Informatica; Experience working with Snowflake, including querying and performance tuning
