Senior Tax Manager

Responsibilities

Reviewing tax returns of varying complexities; Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate); Preparing complex business income tax returns; Tax consulting and projections; Assuming client service responsibility; Developing staff members

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Current CPA license required; 6-8 years experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm; Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparer; Exceptional Excel skills; Consultative approach and client service oriented; Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written); Self-Directed, Autonomous, Ambitious; Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis

Nice to have

Master's degree in taxation; Proficiency with tax automation / workflow software
