The Technical Project Manager role at CapTech is multi-faceted by the very nature of the services we provide to our clients. Success within our diverse range of clients requires the ability to adapt and perform in a wide variety of technology-driven project environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as a delivery lead for cross-functional team(s), bringing together the business, the delivery team, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes and ensure successful project delivery.; Sharing and implementing best practices from different development methodologies (ex: Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models) as needed by project.; Establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to facilitate conversations and enable decision making.; Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex consulting engagements.; Creative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.; Develop and communicate integrated project plans and/or roadmaps to establish, monitor, manage, and report key milestones, risks, and deliverables.; Identify and mitigate risks to the project delivery and support the triage and resolution of critical issues that arise throughout the project.; Perform hands-on delivery work, including analysis, design, process engineering, and change management, as needed by the project.; Desire to share with and develop a community of project managers and leaders.; Proven account management or other relevant experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.; Experience in both agile and traditional project or program management roles.; Demonstrated track record of successful management of large and complex technology projects.; Experience in successfully facilitating stakeholder discussions and driving towards specific outcomes.; Minimum 6 years of experience in project or program management role, preferably with full agile development life cycle experience.; Implement creative thinking and seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.; Ability to establish credibility and trust with clients through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.; Excellent communication skills, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.; Proficient at managing and leading diverse teams made up of people with a variety of technical skills and backgrounds, in different locations (i.e., remote and/or on-site), and from different organizations (i.e., CapTechers, client employees, and/or other vendors).; Project Management Institute (PMI); Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe); Agile Alliance
