We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including electric overhead traveling cranes; Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns efficiently and effectively; Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues, providing expert advice and solutions; Complete accurate and detailed documentation of all service activities using mobile devices; Conduct regular inspections and safety checks on equipment; Collaborate with team members to improve service quality and efficiency; Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and safety standards; Respond to emergency service calls as needed, including potential after-hours work

Requirements

Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or related field; Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance, repair, and servicing; Strong knowledge of electrical engineering disciplines and mechanical systems; Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; Proficiency in using mobile devices for documentation and reporting; Outstanding customer service skills with a professional demeanor; Ability to work at heights and in various industrial environments; Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites; Strong commitment to health and safety practices; Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written; Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities; Flexibility to work extra hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Familiarity with overhead cranes and hoists is a plus
