As a Shift Leader at our Gympie restaurant, you play a critical role in how each shift runs - leading the team, maintaining standards, and ensuring every guest leaves with a great experience.

This is a hands on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving performance on shift and supporting the team in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead shifts and support the team to deliver strong service and food quality; Coach, motivate and direct crew throughout the shift; Maintain high standards across food safety, cleanliness and operations; Ensure smooth shift execution, especially during peak periods; Communicate clearly and keep the team focused and on task; Work closely with senior management to drive performance and consistency

Requirements

Has experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced environment; Is confident taking charge and directing a team during busy periods; Leads from the front and is not afraid to get involved; Communicates clearly and holds team members accountable; Takes pride in high standards and consistent execution; Brings energy and focus to every shift; Availability across evenings and weekends; Ability to work late nights; Flexibility to support peak trade periods; Responsible Service of Alcohol; First Aid & CPR - these can be obtained on employment
