Site Supervisor/Project Manager

Responsibilities

Leading and managing a team delivering routine maintenance activities across the contract area; Overseeing day-to-day operations, including routine painting works and the completion of the remaining LED replacement programme; Coordinating resources, setting teams to work, preparing job packs, carrying out site safety visits, planning and scheduling activities; Ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements; Overseeing a team responsible for installing and maintaining street lighting apparatus and furniture; Planning workloads including routine changing, maintaining and testing street lighting equipment; Ensuring strict adherence to company safety guidelines and regulations; Managing HR requirements for the team, including holiday/sickness/leave and general welfare; Supporting the Operations Manager to deliver outstanding service to clients and the general public, including being client facing

Requirements

Experienced people manager with a passion for leading, coaching, and motivating teams; Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively; Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications; Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently on a daily basis; Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment; Full UK Driving Licence; Availability for on-call rota covering one week in every 10

Nice to have

Background in Highways Electrical, Utilities or Fibre industry; Electrical background with knowledge of the 18th Edition; Completion of a G39 Electrical Safety in the planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of public lighting and other street furniture
