Software Engineer, Backend

As a Backend Engineer on the Engineering team, you will build the core systems that power our AI platform. Our team develops the backend infrastructure and APIs that enable Studio, Vibe, and Vibe Code, shaping how millions of users and developers interact with our technology. Your work will directly affect the reliability, performance, and scalability of our products.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend features and APIs that power our AI platform; Ensure high performance and reliability across distributed systems serving millions of users; Build and improve systems for authentication, billing, AI tooling, and developer experience; Design and implement secure, scalable architectures to support our growing products; Collaborate with infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization; Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features; Solve complex engineering challenges and integrate new technologies into production

Requirements

Experience designing and building scalable backend systems and APIs; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex engineering challenges; Experience with distributed systems and performance optimization; Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; Experience with system architecture and secure, scalable design; Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams; Experience with modern backend frameworks and technologies; Eagerness to learn, iterate, and deliver products
