Solution Architect - EPM (Pigment)

Adyen is looking for an EPM Solution Architect (Supply Chain) to join the growing team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will own supply chain planning, inventory, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) models in Pigment, raising the bar on data quality, forecast automation, scenario analysis, and scalable supply chain execution. As one of the founding technical members of the internal Planning Center of Excellence (CoE), you will build the foundational models that help predict demand, optimize stock visibility, and run a world-class supply chain. The role is based out of the Amsterdam office; Adyen is office-first and does not offer remote-only roles.

Responsibilities

Own Pigment for supply chain planning by building, maintaining, and continuously improving core supply chain models (S&OP, Demand & Supply Planning, Terminal Registry, Lifecycle Tracking, Stock Visibility); Partner with implementation consultants during the IMS project build phases to configure logic, supply source definitions, and translate supply chain rules into multi-dimensional Pigment models; Identify recurring inventory and planning discrepancies and drive root-cause fixes in partnership with Data Engineering; Own and modify routing rules, serial attributes, and forecasting parameters post-implementation; Champion platform adoption, design training resources, and upskill planners to become Level 2 model builders; Establish scenario simulation models to stress-test the supply chain against market disruptions, lead-time changes, and warehouse expansion

Requirements

4–8 years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations planning, business intelligence, or systems-focused roles; Understanding of core supply chain dynamics (S&OP, lead times, safety stock, inventory valuation, warehouse logistics); Experienced planning modeler, with hands-on Pigment or Anaplan experience a strong plus; Experience with other multi-dimensional planning tools (Adaptive, Jedox, TM1) is welcome; Strong data skills, including structuring large supply chain datasets, validating complex business logic, building automated validation controls, and writing SQL; Natural platform owner who architects for performance, scalability, governance, and user experience; Excellent communicator who can distill complex supply chain logic into intuitive planning screens for business users; Familiarity with numerous AI models and embeds AI usage in daily work; Based in or able to work from the Amsterdam office
