Spa Aesthetician

The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for a Part Time - Spa Aesthetician to join our amazing Tocasierra Spa Team! Hours/shifts AM/PM including weekends and holidays. The Aesthetician is responsible for upholding “value added” reputation by providing impeccable service to all of our Resort Spa Guests. Aesthetician’s are technically trained to a superior level and are exceptionally sensitive to guest needs treating all Resort Spa Guests and members and all fellow Team Members with dignity and respect and works to continually to improve our spa system of service and quality.

Responsibilities

Uphold “value added” reputation by providing impeccable service to all Resort Spa Guests; Treat all Resort Spa Guests and members and all fellow Team Members with dignity and respect; Work to continually improve our spa system of service and quality; Perform all facial, cosmetic and hair removal services; Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness of department; Complete daily paperwork as needed; Promote the Spa and Fitness Center; Offer, promote and recommend products for customers to use at home and future treatments

Requirements

Must effectively read, write and understand English; Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing; Self-starting personality with an even disposition; Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times; Can communicate well with guests; Willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers and be a team player; Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy; Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Must be able to perform mathematical and statistical calculations; Ability to perform facial manipulations and extractions, cosmetic application, and hair removal, including heavy manual dexterity, reaching, bending, standing and sitting for long periods; Must be able to carry 20 pounds of linens up; Must be able to make quick and accurate decisions; Good verbal communication skills; Ability to understand and follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision; Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously; Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods; Ability to access and accurately input information using a computer system; Arizona State Board Cosmetology License

Nice to have

Guest Service and previous experience at a Resort or Day Spa preferred; High school diploma or equivalent preferred
