The Spa & Recreation Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all spa, wellness, fitness, pool and recreation facilities are clean, safe, well-maintained and ready for guests. The role provides direct guest assistance while maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service expected in a luxury hotel.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and provide professional and personalized service; Maintain cleanliness and organization of spa, recreation, pool, fitness and wellness areas; Ensure towels, robes, amenities and other supplies are fully stocked; Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before and after guest appointments; Assist guests with the use of spa and recreation facilities; Maintain changing rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, sauna, steam room and pool areas; Monitor facilities and report maintenance, safety or equipment issues promptly; Conduct regular checks to ensure all areas meet hygiene and safety standards; Support spa therapists and reception colleagues with daily operations; Respond to guest requests and provide assistance in a courteous and efficient manner; Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the facilities; Follow all hotel health, safety, hygiene and operational procedures; Maintain professional grooming and appearance at all times; Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily facility checks; Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements

Previous experience in a spa, wellness, fitness, recreation or luxury hotel environment; High school diploma or equivalent qualification; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Strong customer service and guest-focused approach; Good knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards; Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation; Professional grooming and positive attitude; Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods; Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team; Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays; Basic first aid or lifeguard certification is an advantage; Good command of English, with additional languages considered an advantage; Embrace the Raffles & Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions; Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected; Create an environment where colleagues are empowered, supported and recognized
