Splunk Expert / Technical lead France (F/H/X)

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Splunk Expert / Technical Lead FR (F/M/X) to join our Digital team based in Élancourt (78), France. You will be part of a dedicated team driving the core of our system monitoring and security capabilities. As part of this critical function, you will be involved in advanced platform architecture and technical leadership aiming at ensuring the optimal performance, security, and resilience of our internal systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of robust Splunk solutions across diverse Airbus environments; manage and fine-tune Splunk instances, ensuring efficient data ingestion, indexing, and search performance; develop advanced dashboards, reports, and alerts to support security operations and compliance; aid incident response through expert Splunk-based forensic analysis and data retrieval; act as technical mentor for junior Splunk administrators and analysts; collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Splunk with wider IT and security infrastructure; troubleshoot complex technical issues; contribute to development of internal Splunk governance and standards; ensure we stay ahead of latest features and industry trends

Requirements

Proven expert-level background in Splunk Enterprise (architecture, deployment, and administration); degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience; deep understanding of Splunk best practices (data onboarding, SPL, performance optimization); proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation; strong analytical skills and ability to unpack complex issues; excellent communication skills to lead and collaborate effectively across teams; fluency in English (written and spoken); security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities; French nationality mandatory for this role

Nice to have

Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and/or IT Service Intelligence (ITSI); relevant Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin)
