Spring 2027 Maintenance Co-op

The Maintenance Operations Co-op role acts as a primary point of contact for all maintenance-related tasks across Groma's residential real estate portfolio. This position requires exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and works across teams with our field technicians, third-party vendors, and residents.

Responsibilities

Field all inbound maintenance requests from residents via phone, email, and resident portal; Triage and prioritize maintenance issues, dispatching in-house field technicians or third-party contractors as needed; Manage the scheduling and follow-up of all maintenance tasks; Maintain accurate records of all work orders, including billing and completion details; Assist with on-site inspections for apartment turnovers and quarterly property checks; Complete quarterly supply inventory audits; Assist with the move-in and move-out process, performing maintenance-focused walkthroughs; Participate in property operations meetings and projects; Assist with the onboarding of new triple-decker acquisitions to the portfolio; Help with the implementation of maintenance-specific policies and procedures

Requirements

1+ years of experience in customer service, administration, hospitality positions; Strong computer skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, must be very comfortable talking on the phone; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Diligent and efficient documentation, task, and schedule management skills

Nice to have

Experience in the real estate, construction, or property management industries; Google Suite experience
