Sr Engineer - Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

Leads feature and user story estimation and backlog refinement; Provides technical leadership, direction, coaching and mentoring; Leads front-end development, database development, API and messaging development; Acts as a technical lead for the team; Helps lead SAFe Program Increment and Sprint Planning ceremonies; Develops detailed user stories and requirements; Directs data gathering and analysis to support product strategy; Leads code reviews for quality assurance; Responsible for ongoing maintenance of applications and production support; Investigates, resolves and escalates problems; Establishes liaison relationship with business partners and IT organization; Responsible for coaching and knowledge transfer to team members

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or another related field; Typically has more than 8 years of application definition, build, testing, and development experience; Expert programming skills in specified technology stack; Expert understanding of relational database design and theory; Expert understanding of automated testing practices; Expert knowledge of Object-Orient Design Patterns and use cases for applying them; Experience integrating solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework; Excellent interpersonal skills; Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet commitments; Provides technical coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members
