Staff Product Manager

At Miovision, we are engineering the future of smart transportation, and we need a highly strategic Staff Product Manager to clear the intersection for our market-leading Signal Priority and Preemption portfolio. Reporting directly to the Product Director of App Services, you will be the ultimate traffic controller for technology that directly impacts emergency response times, first responder safety, and global transit efficiency. We need a visionary who can look past the current gridlock to define a bold 3–5 year roadmap, modernizing our platform with advanced cloud analytics and smart priority management.

Responsibilities

Own the 3–5 year strategic vision and success metrics for the portfolio, connecting hardware, edge computing, and cloud software across fleet types; Proactively design solutions that eliminate deployment friction, lower the cost of scale, and improve unit economics; Transform highly complex, ill-defined problems in the signal priority space into market-ready solutions; Maintain continuous discovery, validating the riskiest assumptions early to build business cases and guide the long-term roadmap; Shift offerings from reactive data visualization to automated, AI-driven predictive optimization; Act as the executive-level authority on priority systems and smart infrastructure, influencing company-wide product strategy; Build partner networks and align Sales, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams on high-stakes releases; Protect and scale key revenue streams by delivering reliable, modern software, and mentor junior PMs

Requirements

Extensive product management experience as a principal or lead contributor; proven track record of scaling enterprise platforms and successfully expanding into new vertical markets; thrives in high-standard, highly ambiguous environments and takes total ownership of complex initiatives; always starts with the user and works backwards, using continuous discovery loops and multi-modal data to validate assumptions; razor-sharp business acumen, connecting product decisions to core financial drivers (like COGS and margins); master at managing up and sideways, using hard data to say no strategically; passionate about the impact of shaping technology that saves lives, accelerates public transit, and optimizes commercial fleets
