Duties for this position include washing dishes, pots and pans, mopping floors, cleaning kitchen equipment and ensuring there is an adequate supply of clean china, glassware and silver.

Responsibilities

Washing dishes, pots and pans; mopping floors; cleaning kitchen equipment; ensuring adequate supply of clean china, glassware and silver; washing all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and other items used in restaurant, kitchen and banquet department; breaking down boxes and emptying trash containers; day to day cleaning of kitchen per Health Department regulations; cleaning walls, floor mats, sweeping and mopping kitchen floor daily; ensuring dish machine operates effectively; banquet set up and break down and delivery of banquet food; complying with sanitation standards and health department regulations; following safety procedures; maintaining professional communication with supervisors

Requirements

Ability to handle fluctuations in workload; Ability to complete up to 100 covers per dishwasher; Flexibility to work a varied schedule; Ability to work flexible hours

Nice to have

One year of food service experience is preferred
