Store Manager 01426

The Store Manager is responsible for the sales, profitability, appearance, and overall operations of the store. The position objectives are to show consistent sales growth, ensure store exemplifies the proper O’Reilly image, operates as a profit center, and follows policies and procedures to ensure the store is operating as economically and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities

Maximizing sales by directing team members; Soliciting orders, selling company products, and representing the company; Maintaining customer base and increasing sales volume; Communicating and coordinating sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager; Supervising store team members and working with District Manager on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members; Developing and posting work schedules based on sales and payroll forecasting; Reviewing team member timecards; Ensuring team members complete company training; Working with Sales and Pricing Departments to establish pricing levels; Maximizing gross profit on outside purchases; Monitoring price overrides and price matches; Ensuring store organization and policy compliance; Implementing planogram changes and merchandising plans; Providing accurate stock adjustment recaps; Handling daily store accounting functions; Monitoring charge accounts; Implementing loss prevention procedures; Ensuring store vehicle maintenance; Reporting property/building needs; Attending Annual Managers' Conference

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently; Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems

Nice to have

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE certification
