Responsibilities

manage the procurement of radar systems, electronic components, and technical subsystems; lead RFQ/RFP processes and negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers; manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, and delivery; collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams; support make-or-buy decisions and contribute to cost optimization initiatives; identify and mitigate obsolescence and supply chain risks

Requirements

have experience in Procurement, Strategic Purchasing, Category Management, or Supplier Management; ideally bring experience from Aerospace, Defence, Aviation, Electronics, or Radar Systems; have hands-on experience with supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, and contract negotiations; understand technical products such as electronic components, sensors, antennas, RF technologies, avionics systems, or related equipment; are comfortable discussing technical requirements with engineering teams; have experience with SAP MM and/or SAP S/4HANA Procurement; are fluent in English, German is a plus
