Suite Attendant

Responsibilities

Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite; Verify and set-up all pre-game/event orders; Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself; Take and place game day food and beverage orders; Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event; Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils as needed; Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the event; Obtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely manner; Clear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite; Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager

Requirements

Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position; Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check; Excellent guest service skills, ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards; Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training; Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues; Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with staff and prepare event plans; Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to direct work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead; Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, work effectively with others and work in a fast-paced environment; Good customer service skills and ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty; Must be present for all major events at the Arena; Frequent walking for entire length of shift, constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions; Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds
