Supply Chain Business Mgr 4

The Supplier Chain Business Manager (SBM) is responsible for managing assigned suppliers for Power Box and Valued-Added Assembly (VAA) to ensure continuity of supply, operational excellence, and supplier performance in support of business objectives. The SBM serves as the primary operational interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving delivery performance, risk mitigation, inventory strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own the operational relationship with assigned suppliers for Power Box and VAA and act as the primary point of contact for supply chain matters; Monitor and improve supplier performance through key metrics, including on-time delivery, consignment program, lead time, inventory, quality, and responsiveness; Drive supply continuity by proactively identifying risks, developing mitigation plans, and leading recovery actions to minimize business impact; Conduct regular supplier business reviews to assess operational health, capacity, demand readiness, and improvement opportunities; Collaborate with Commodity Management, Factory support, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to resolve supply chain challenges; Analyze Supply vs. Demand (SvD), backlog, forecast, and inventory data to identify risks and implement corrective actions; Drive supplier commitments, lead time reduction, inventory optimization, and fulfilment improvements; Lead escalation management for supply constraints, shortages, and delivery issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders; Ensure timely communication of supply risks, recovery plans, and business impacts to leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline; Minimum 10 years' experience in development, management, and improvement of supplier performance metrics such as OTD, Consignment and Leadtime; Excellent stakeholders' management, negotiation, and solid written/oral communication skills.

Nice to have

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and data analysis tools are preferred; Familiarity with semiconductor or high-technology supply management practices, standards and organization would be a plus; Commodity experience and good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes in Power Box, VAA, Cables and Sheet metal fabrication; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
