Support Worker

Position details: Permanent Part Time 30 hrs a fortnight. Availability of days: Monday to Friday - Mon, Wed and Fri are a must for this role. Availability Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Preferred location - Kincumber, Davistown, Empire Bay, Blackwall, Ettalong, Umina Beach, Woy Woy, St Huberts Island, Killcare Heights, Sarotoga.

Responsibilities

Personal Care - support with showering, dressing and medication support tailored to each client; Companionship – bring warmth and kindness to someone’s day; Domestic assistance – help with light cleaning and keeping homes safe & tidy; Transport – drive clients to appointments or assist with the groceries; Meal prep – whip up simple, nutritious meals; Meaningful moments – encourage hobbies, chats, and social connection

Requirements

30 hrs a fortnight; Monday to Friday availability, Mon, Wed and Fri are a must; Availability hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care (or equivalent); A genuine passion for helping others; National Police check or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain); A reliable car, driver’s license, and comprehensive car insurance; First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain); Working With Children’s Check (or willing to obtain); Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for your daily work
