Support Worker

A support Worker is required to provide support a 13 year old boy who lives in the Aykley Heads area of Durham. We are looking for someone to take our son, who has autism, out into the community either once or twice a week. He enjoys going for walks, going to the park and shopping. Your main role will be to support our son to go out into the community to make sure he is safe doing the things he enjoys.

Responsibilities

Support a 13 year old boy with autism in the community; Take him out into the community once or twice a week; Ensure he is safe while doing things he enjoys

Requirements

Enhanced DBS required

Nice to have

Experience of working with adults or children with autism; Car driver with own car; Full UK driving license
