Survey Internship

As a summer intern on the Survey team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You’ll work for our clients on projects with guidance from our experienced surveyors. You will assist with the performance of fieldwork including, but not limited to, topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking. You will travel to job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work; Work for clients on projects with guidance from experienced surveyors; Assist with performance of fieldwork including topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking; Travel to job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions

Requirements

Working collaboratively with others; Having ownership in the work you do; Using your talents to positively affect communities; Strong communication skills; Ability to contribute and work well on a team; Pursuing a degree in land surveying, construction management, civil engineering technology, or another related field; Valid driver's license with good driving history; Strong attention to detail; Problem-solving and decision-making skills; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
