Tax Manager

We’re currently looking for a Tax Manager to work with a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, from sole traders to directors of owner managed businesses, with the opportunity to work with larger more complex clients.

Responsibilities

Preparing Self-Assessment personal tax returns efficiently and accurately; Preparing P11D forms, advising on benefits in kind and preparing PAYE Settlement Agreements; Preparing Capital Gains Tax computations and in year CGT on UK Property returns; Communicating with colleagues from other departments, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required; Ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects

Requirements

ATT qualification (or part-qualified) or qualified by experience; Proven experience within a similar role; Strong technical expertise in personal tax, partnership tax and Capital Gains Tax; Experience in coaching and training junior members of the team

Nice to have

Proficiency in CCH; Sound tax advisory knowledge in owner managed businesses covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues
