Tax Senior Associate | International Tax

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior Associate | International Tax to join our team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and accounting within the organization. They play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations, and implementing strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing financial efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including OVDP and Streamlined compliance filings; Review client data, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations; Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact; Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience (required); Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards; Hands-on experience with journal entry preparation and accrual vs. cash basis accounting; Proficiency in calculating GILTI; Experience preparing tax forms including 1040, 8858, 8865, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, and FBAR; Familiarity with CFC and foreign partnership classifications, as well as Check-the-Box elections; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Nice to have

Master’s degree preferred; Software experience preferred: UltraTax or ProSystems, QuickBooks, and Practice CS; Spanish fluency preferred in Coral Gables and Boca Raton
