Team Member

Team Member position at Circle K in Grandview Heights, Ohio. Provides excellent customer service, maintains store facility and equipment, supports merchandising and inventory control, handles sales and cash records, reports incidents, and performs administrative duties. Part time position with Days and Evenings shift availability.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt excellent customer service; Greet customers as they enter and thank customers as they leave; Ring up sales on cash register properly and accurately; Perform multi-function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions; Maintain store facility condition and equipment; Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain store cleanliness; Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; Complete build-to's for ordering/purchasing merchandise; Receive and verify vendor deliveries; Maintain adequate stock and rotate stock properly; Place advertising and pricing signage; Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses; Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits; Keep accurate cash, sales and inventory control records; Notify Store Manager of any sales, cash or inventory discrepancy; Report all incidents including injuries, theft, property damage or improper sanitation or waste disposal; Report unsafe, unlawful or unethical conduct; Keep accurate shift and timekeeping paperwork; Take inventory of supplies and equipment; Attend job-related meetings; Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred; Experience in retail sales preferred; Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment that may include cash registers or scanners; hot or cold or beverage dispensers, and other machines or tools; Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time; Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred; Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below; Ability to work in the conditions described below.
