Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution and successful end-to-end delivery of implementation projects to our clients. You will join a wider Delivery team of engineers, analysts, data scientists and architects focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients. You will be part of the Project Management practice, a global network of project and programme management professionals within Quantexa.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the delivery of Quantexa projects end-to-end, mitigating risks and issues, driving high standards of quality and best practice, and controlling costs, timelines and scope; Drive successful outcomes by delivering projects in the most optimal way to realise maximum value to clients; Manage the commercial and financial aspects of projects, working with clients to agree contracts for professional services using Time and Materials (T&M) and Fixed Price constructs; Coach and mentor technical teams to produce high quality deliverables; Work and learn with a high degree of autonomy, engaging the wider organisation for support when needed; Devise strategies to manage project stakeholders, both client-side and Quantexa leadership

Requirements

Accomplished project management professional with strong leadership skills and a track record of delivering complex projects; Expert knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile, and understanding of how they scale to multiple teams and functions; Broad stakeholder management experience as a supplier to clients or within a client-side environment; Experience delivering large and complex data-driven projects through the full software lifecycle; Good understanding of technical aspects that impact project outcomes, with the ability to devise mitigation strategies; Strong appreciation of business purpose and drivers of projects; Ability to operate in complex multi-team environments and influence other teams; Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills; Strong technical communication skills with experience in rapidly changing client environments; Understanding of what makes a high quality, operationally stable system and how to streamline development, release and operations; Self-starter with determination, initiative and tenacity; Proficiency in speaking Arabic at a fluent/native level is mandatory; Comfortable traveling within the UAE and across the Gulf region as required
